• Easy-to-use: Monitor can be placed at the bedside or wheelchair while connected to a corded sensor pad. The sensor pad is placed under the resident. When the resident gets up and pressure is removed from the pad, monitor will sound alerting the caregiver.
• Automatically tracks pad life: Caregivers no longer have to write dates on pads or more importantly, move residents and pull back bed sheets to check expiration dates on pads! When used with timed bed and chair pressure pads, the monitor saves time and staff resources by letting you know when it’s time to change the pad.
• Be F-Tag compliant! A light will illuminate 10 days prior to the pad life expiration. A short beep will also alert caregivers that it’s time to change pad.
• No more out of warranty pads! Automatically counts down days pad is in use and sends alert when pad life is near expiration.
• Includes Patented TamperProof™ Caregiver Key (Figure A) setting. Only the caregiver can turn the monitor off.
• Safety Auto-Reset – automatically resets when pressure is applied to a connected sensor pad.
• No Unsafe Off switch – prevents resident tampering.
• Raised Visual Status light enabling caregiver to see alarm from a distance.
• Patented Pad Lost notification – alerts caregiver if connection between sensor pad and monitor becomes disconnected.
• Battery operated (3-AA not included). Low Battery notification – Light will flash to alert caregivers that the batteries are becoming low in the monitor.
• Nurse call capability – a nurse call adapter allows for use with a hardwired nurse call system, alerting caregivers through an existing nurse call system.
